Restructuring Financial Position
We have a passion for reviewing clients’ financial positions and recommending strategies that free up cash flow to either further develop wealth or simply remove cash flow stress and assist in enjoying life. As an example:
A new client joined Isaacs & Cole bringing with them a successful business, an investment trust and a self managed superannuation fund. We worked with the client to help them identify their priorities and the gaps in their financial affairs that were limiting the attainment of their goals. Having undertaken that task we were engaged to develop a strategy that not only addressed the immediate financial concerns, but would also maximise wealth creation opportunities over time.
Using the base of $2m in net assets and debts of $1m, we were able to restructure their arrangements, including asset ownership, remuneration strategies and their borrowing facilities, to improve tax utility and overall after-tax cash flow by in excess of $40K per annum. The strategy also saw our client gain financial flexibility, reduce asset exposure to risk and obtain the opportunity to accelerate the accumulation of their superannuation benefits. The strategy has set them on track for accumulating a healthy retirement balance by the time they stop working and, importantly, they now understand their affairs and have a strategy aligned to their goals.
